Terms of Service

Last updated 8 July 2026

An agreement between you and Solva Labs LLC for the Wake Boom app and this website. By using Wake Boom, you agree to these terms.

The app

Wake Boom is an alarm-clock app for iPhone that requires you to complete a small task — a math problem, a photo, or shaking your phone — to dismiss an alarm. You'll need a compatible iPhone, a current version of iOS, and notification permissions enabled for alarms to work.

Not a safety-critical service

Wake Boom is a consumer convenience, not a safety-critical or medical device. Whether an alarm sounds depends on your device, its battery and volume, your iOS notification and Focus settings, and factors outside our control. Please don't rely on Wake Boom alone for situations where failing to wake could cause harm. Every ringing alarm includes a Panic Exit, so you're never prevented from leaving an alarm in an emergency.

License

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Wake Boom on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal use. Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"), which supplements these terms; where they conflict on Apple-specific matters, the Apple EULA controls.

Subscriptions and billing

Wake Boom is free to download and includes a core alarm. Wake Boom Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional missions, difficulties, custom sounds, and insights. Pricing is shown in the app before you buy — currently $6.99 per week or $39.99 per year (prices may vary by region and change over time).

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the app: no reverse-engineering except where allowed by law, no attempts to disrupt or circumvent the service, and no use that violates the law or the rights of others.

Photos and privacy

If you use the optional photo mission, images are handled as described in our Privacy Policy — sent for a pass/fail check and discarded immediately, never stored or sold. Your alarms and settings otherwise stay on your device.

Intellectual property

Wake Boom, its name, design, and content are owned by Solva Labs LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms don't transfer any of our rights to you beyond the license above.

Third-party services

Wake Boom relies on Apple (distribution and billing), RevenueCat (subscription management), and — only for the optional photo mission — kie.ai using Google Gemini (photo pass/fail checks). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

Wake Boom is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alarms will always sound. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solva Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any missed wake-up, lost time, or other loss arising from your use of or inability to use Wake Boom. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we'll provide notice in the app or on this site. Continuing to use Wake Boom after changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
